Powerboat level 2 is the qualification required to operate the safety boats during club activities. If you have significant relevant experience it is also possible to gain the qualification by a direct assessment, lasting approximately one hour, of your boat handling skills and knowledge. If you are interested in doing this please contact me.

 

I think we now have sufficient people interested in this course to try and arrange a date. If you have expressed interest already please could you let me know any dates you will definitely not be available and any preferred dates so that I can contact the instructor - we need everyone there to make the course viable.

The cost will be at least £50 and the subsequent license costs £25.
