This will be followed by a few enjoyable excercises -- before or during the light refreshment! Please remember to bring along a bite to eat to share and something to drink.
Start time 7.30pm. See you there? "Steve suggests he should be Race Officer for our Regatta this year!!" The New Observation Terrace 07 March 2010 What is Terry up to now?

Three from Lochcarron - Crisdean MacKenzie Annie Baker Patch and Cathy Kitson Jones plus 2 brothers who travelled over from Nairn - Murray and Fraser Harcus. Well done to all and a special thank you to Carol for organising the course and along with Jenny, for supplying the ever essential soup and toasties. Final Yacht Race 13 September 2009
Our Final Yacht Race of the season was held on Sunday 13th September. This was a race with a twist -- Doug Angus was organising this one and he decided to run it as a "Pursuit Race". This meant that Pegasus had an eighteen minute start over the fastest boats in the fleet ... but did it do him any good? ....... Read on to find out. The race was sailed in ideal conditions with three laps of the loch lasting roughly two hours which was the designated time for the race to run. Eight boats participated with the faster boats (on handicap at least) having to catch-up the slower boats before the allocated two hours had elapsed. On each lap all eight boats had to pass through the start/finish line which was laid just off Meridian. This became increasing difficult to achieve as a two to three knot tide set up across the line much to delight of the audience on the committee boat and chagrin of the skippers as they battled against decreasing odds. (Some even opted to scrape past the bouy and accept a 360 degree turn as a penalty.) The pursuit race system seemed to work well as five of the competitors crossed the finish line within five minutes of one another -- this was particularly exciting against the tide. A special mention should be made of Pointer who sailed a blinding last tack and overtook at least two boats in the last minute. The photo below shows Pointer and Amatory on the broad reach heading towards Attadale. Steve Patch in Scamander was the first (but not the only one) to overtake Pegasus. Scamander took an impressive first place with Rob Teago and crew in Amatory coming in second. Scamander and crew at the finish line Steve holding the Commodore's Cup and sporting one of his famous T-shirts! Below, the crew of Mhojo desperately search for some boats to overtake..... The fleet seemed scattered at first but closed up at the end. Gunn Report. 12 September 2009 Unfortunately, for various reasons no other club was able to field a team for this year's Gunn Trophy event.l
Six of our best sailors were rigged, dressed in their sailing gear and ready to race when we realised that there was no competition! Undaunted we had a great day of sailing in Toppers. First our six juniors raced whith great determination and competitiveness, then we went ashore for an excellent barbeque. Then the parents/ adults showed just how competative they can be -- with much shouting, contested mark roundings and (some of us) even doing penalty turns -- when it was alleged that they had scuffed a mark! Next the juniors raced the adults and the adults raced the juniors, and meantime the sound system on Mhojo was blaring out encouraging music. It was Mediteranean on the water and it was as good as any Sunsail Holiday (except we were stifling in drysuits!). Overall the official winner was, of course, Cameron! However, we felt we were all winners as we had such a great time and some of the juniors and the adults had the best racing they had ever had in dinghies....! The Gunn Trophy Event 12 September 2009 (Gunn Trophy competition in Lochcarron 2007. Let's hope for sunshine this year!)(Stop Press: The Forecast for Saturday is for Unbroken Sunshine and light Westerly Winds. Perfect weather for a Barbeque and polishing up those light wind sailing skills!)Youth Sailors are warmly invited to compete for their clubs at this annual event which will be held at Lochcarron Sailing Club on Saturday 12th September. There is no charge for this event -- and the honour of wresting the covetted Gunn Trophy from the Lochcarron Sailors is there for the taking. Teams of three single handed sailors are invited. The class this year has been expanded to allow for both Toppers and Picos. (Portsmouth yardstick handicap system will be applied to results.) All competitors must still be of school age -- under 18 years. Schedule:Briefing at 11.00a.m. First Race at 12 noon. There will be a short lunch break, followed by more racing in the afternoon. Prize giving and barbeque at 4.00p.m. This year we are hoping for competitors from Ullapool, as well as Skye and Plockton Sailing Clubs. We look forward to seeing you all here!Gairloch Challenge Success! 06 September 2009 Lochcarron Scoops the new Gairloch Challenge Trophy!
Congratulations to the team who competed in the Gairloch Regatta this weekend. Seventeen dinghies took part -- seven of those were from Lochcarron, two from Loch Morlich, and eight from Gairloch Sailing Club. The team from Lochcarron consisted of: Jenny Baker, Kenny Davidson, Cameron Kitson-Jones, Cathy Kitson-Jones, Fraser Kitson-Jones, Kevin Kitson-Jones, Scott Kitson-Jones, Dave Murray, Dougal Murray and Steve Patch. The new Trophy is already on display in the Clubhouse!
Regatta Results. 31 August 2009 2009 Regatta ReportA total of 24 dinghies participated in the 2009 regatta. We were pleased to welcome sailors from Loch Morlich, Invergordon, Findhorn, Gairloch and Isle of Skye Sailing Clubs. The weather forecast was for strong Westerly winds and showers on Saturday and that is what we got -- in bucket-loads! Most boats who could do so reefed before launching into a fairly steady F5. However prior to the first starting sequence a torrential downpour seemed to spell the end of the strong winds and several crews decided to shake out the reefs before the starting gun. Race One : As luck would have it the winds returned on the first beat, leading to an exciting reach after the windward mark which culminated in an extremely dicey gybe mark. When Steve's Albacore capsised, quickly followed by one of the RS Vareos it became obvious that we were in for an exciting race. Discretion was the better part... and several boats opted to wear around the gybe mark rather than risk the gybe. In the fast hadicap only six boats completed. There were five retirals. (Dave Murray 1st, Dave Allan 2nd, Steve Patch 3rd.) The slow handicap fared even worse (the increased wind hit them before their start) with only two finishers out of ten starts. (Cameron Kitson-Jones 1st, Gary Bulmar 2nd). Race Two: After a break to retrieve some scattered crews and boats and to eat some delicious soup and rolls the second race commenced. The strong Westerly wind persisted but the crews now knew what to expect. In the fast handicap a disputed mark rounding led to the capsize and retirement of Dave Allen's Albacore and ultimately Steve Patch was DSQ allowing Dave Murray to snatch another 1st. (Dave Murray 1st, Scott Kitson-Jones 2nd, Joe Galloway 3rd.) The slow handicap had six finishers. (Cameron K-J 1st, Gary Bulmaer 2nd, Fraser Kitson-Jones 3rd.) Race Three: This time the race committee opted for a triangular course which made for some extremely fast sailing in winds which were estimated to be gusting up to F7. Once more the rescue teams had good reason to keep watch at the gybe mark, and the broad reach produced some spectacular white knuckle rides for the spinnaker boats in the fast class. Fast handicap (1st Steve Patch, 2nd Dave Allen, 3rd Scott Kitson-Jones). The slow handicap produced only three finishers. (1st Cameron K-J, 2nd Gary Bulmer, 3rd Fraser K-J. The clubhouse was packed on Saturday evening as we enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Fiona and Gail while being entertained by the local band known as the "Lochcarron Fogies" On Sunday morning the numbers were swelled as a crew from the Isle of Skye joined the competition and the three grils who had raced together on Saturday opted for single-handers as their Omega was "out of action".
Race Four: was back to the "square" format and was sailed in moderate winds. The start was closely competed as shown above. Results: Fast handicap (1st Dave Allen, 2nd Steve Patch, 3rd Dave Lilley.) Slow handicap (1st Cameron K-J, 2nd Fraser K-J, 3rd Angus Baxter.) Race Five: The wind was really dropping by now which tested concentration and light wind sailing skills. Fast handicap: (1st Dave Allen, 2nd Joe Galloway, 3rd Steve Patch.) Slow handicap (1st Gary Bulmer, 2nd Cameron K-J, 3rd David Millaney.) We are grateful to Ross MacKerlich, the RNLI operations manager from Kyle of Lochalsh who presented the prizes ably assisted by his wife, Annie. Thank you to Caley Marina who provided prize tokens and an extremely useful extra rescue boat for the event. (A link to their website is available by clicking on the Links tab on the left.)
The Results:Fast Handicap:1st David Allan (Albacore- Invergordon)) 2nd Steve Patch (Albacore - Lochcarron) 3rd Dave Murray (Laser 20000 -Lochcarron)
Slow Handicap:1st Cameron Kitson-Jones (Topper - Lochcarron)) 2nd Gary Bulmar (Wanderer - ?Gairloch) 3rd Fraser Kitson-Jones (Topper - Lochcarron)
Wednesday night Free Sailing Starts Again!! 19 August 2009 Yes. School is about to restart -- but that means that the sailing Club will be open as usual on Wednesday afternoons from 4.30p.m!! The format will be similar to before but for budding sailors who would like some more tuition please speak to Dave or Jenny. Let us know what skills you would like to practice and we will do our best to arrange some coaching for you. For the first two Wednesdays we will be concentrating on choosing the team for this year's Gunn Trophy Challenge. If you'd like to be in the Lochcarron team please let us know and we'll help you polish those racing skills! We are hoping that there will be teams from Ullapool as well as Plockton and Skye this year, so the competition may be tough!
Yacht Race Sunday 16th August 15 August 2009 Yacht Race 16th AugustIt was a close start with a very narrow start line.
Pegasus (shown below) was third equal with Scamander, and Ella was second.
Mhojo and Amatory were "neck and neck" after the first lap. The winner "Amatory" powers by, while tussles continue in the background.
Dramatic Rescue at Plockton Small Boat Sailing Club 05 August 2009 Thankfully the squall which hit the dinghies competing at Plockton's Regatta on Wednesday evening was dealt with efficiently and with no injury to all concerned. The incident occurred in Loch Carron but did not involve our club which is situated about 8 miles to the East of Plockton. Coincidentally we were just about to start one of our regular Wednesday evening club races when the same squall passed through our sailing area at about 7.15p.m. Fortunately one of our members had been late to arrive so we had not yet launched our dinghies! So there but for the Grace of God...... Several of the press reports have commented that the rescue was in Lochcarron. This notice has been posted to assure interested partied that Lochcarron Sailing Club was not involved. Sailaway 25th July 29 July 2009 Seven yachts and Meridian enjoyed a Sailaway last Saturday. The weather was glorious but the wind almost non-existent with several yachts resorting to engine power to avoid mutiny amongst their crews! Crowlin was obviously too far so we settled for the beach at Airigh-drishaig. All the boats rafted up and enjoyed an impromptu mackerel barbecue courtesy of Meridian. Dogs and sailors enjoyed runs ashore before taking advantage of the freshening breeze for a brisk run back into Lochcarron and Loch Kishorn.
Regatta at Plockton 26 July 2009 For information on this 2 week regatta, please follow the link below:
Pentland Firth Regatta 24 July 2009
Steve travelled to thurso last weekend and with the light wind suiting the Phantom managed to win the event. Hopefully an RS200 and Geoff Henstridge in a Tasar from Pentland will be attending our Regatta. Geoff is an expert sailor and if you google him you will find he is a national champion and a laser world masters top ten sailor !!
Invergordon regatta 24 July 2009
Steve in the Phantom along with Paul and Jackie Sleeman recently travelled to Invergordon for their regatta. The photo was taken a few minutes after the start with the Phantom pulling away from Dangerous Dave in the red Alby then Terry in a Merlin closely followed by Paul. A fine sailing weekend sailing saw Steve coming out the overall winner with some of the local and travelling boats vowing to come to Lochcarron regatta for revenge.
Yacht Sailaway Saturday 25th July. 21 July 2009 The plan is to leave the moorings in Slumbay at 10.00 on Saturday. Crowlin is the proposed destination but this will be decided on Saturday according to the weather conditions. The yachts should be at Plockton/Kishorn Islands around 11.30. All yachts welcome - contact Doug Angus, 722291, for more information. Highland Games 20 July 2009
Lochcarron Games – 18th July 2009
The sailing club once again ran the tea and baking stall and Sink the Fleet at the Lochcarron games and despite the drizzly day, the turn-out was huge. The ladies behind the tea stall were kept busy all day, with baking and teas racing off the tables. The Games stalls are the main fundraiser for the club each year, and thanks to all who visited us, and with the added success of our Sink the Fleet stall, we had a very successful day. Many thanks to all who helped on the day both behind the stalls and behind the scenes with sandwiches, baking, boat removal and so forth. A big thanks also to Ruaridh Baird-Ferguson and Dougie Moyes for providing us with the great electrics and water system.

Alex Ingram kindly sent some photos of the training this evening (Thursday). We had a really good time with adult Stage 1 and 2 trainees. Here's a couple of the pics to whet your appetite. There even more pics to be seen on his "pic of the day" site. Check out the photos for the 9th of July on www.lochcarron.tv . Thanks Alex! When we sailed across to Attadale we played one or two games. There was the Egg game"
and we also played an elimination Tug o' war.
Training Week Programme 01 July 2009 Training WeekI am in the process of sendingout confirmations and details by email to all participants. If you have not received yours yet you should get it tonight or tomorrow. The shore rota for parents will follow on Friday or Saturday. The programme for Monday to Thursday: 9.30 - 12.30 Junior Stage 1 Junior Stage 2 (group 1) Junior Stage 3 1.30 - 4.30 Junior Stage 2 (group 2) Junior Stage 4 Start Racing 5.30 - 8.30 Adults Level 1 Adults Level 2 Jenny Record -- Eight Yachts compete! 28 June 2009 Light(or sometimes non-existent) winds were the main challenge for the eight yachts that participated in our yacht race today. (Sunday 28t6h June). (The crews enjoying a "debrief" Lochcarron Style)We were pleased to welcome Eric and Teo who joined us from Broadford on their Trident Trimaran named Mistri. After a leisurely start it was decided to sail the race course anti-clockwise as the light wind filled in from the West. With one minute to go the wind dropped to a wisp, catching several boats out and leading to a significant congregation at the stern of committee boat Meridian. Meanwhile Amatory stole a flanker by crossing the line in clear air on port before swiftly tacking onto Starboard and leaving the carnage in their wake. As the rest of the fleet sorted themselves out, some chose the north side of the loch while Amatory continued on her way on the sourthern edge. They were never to be beaten and although the rest of the fleet bunched up at the gybe mark down by Ardnaff, with a few tight slow motion spinnaker tussles, they led from start to finish. ( Pointer ghosting to second place on her very first race!)On corrected time the final results were: First Amatory, 2nd Pointer, 3rd Scamander, 4th Mhojo, 5th Ella, 6th Sebrijo, 7th Mistry, 8th Playtime. (The crew of Amatory hold their trophy aloft.)Many thanks to all who made such a fun day possible. Looking forward to meeting up for our next race on August 16th. TRAINING WEEK (at last!) 14 June 2009 TO ALL CLUB MEMBERS
![]() Please find attached an application form for Training Week. If you wish to have a place on a course I would be grateful if you could complete the form and return it to me, by email, at your earliest convenience.
We are having a meeting to try and finalise the programme for Training Week this Thursday so it would be useful to have some idea of numbers by then.
I hope to be able to confirm details next weekend.

OYT Fundraiser Updated with report. 18 May 2009
A happy Commodore, on completion of his 12 hour fundraising event. 19 laps of the islands. His faithful companion Bluey. A welcome glass of fizz. Last job of the day ... on the dishes! Congratulations to Dave on completing his OYT fundraiser, and well done to his support team especially Mhoira and Dougal. We expect Dave will give a full report soon, watch this space! OK Carol, you did ask! ............................. To raise funds for the Ocean Youth Trust Scotland I volunteered to complete a twelve hour sailing marathon in front of Lochcarron village. The challenge was to sail around the Islands as many times as possible without stopping. On Friday night the wind did its best to shiver my timbers as a full Easterly gale blew up – which incidentally broke the yacht “Nomad” off her mooring and left her stranded on the shore at Dalachladdich. But by early Saturday morning the wind had subsided and it seemed possible to go ahead. I wore a drysuit with plenty of padding underneath and launched my Laser 2000 dinghy at just after 8.00a.m. The wind remained from the East all day, varying Force 3 to 4 with a choppy sea, plenty of white horses but no swell and only one or two squally showers. I hoped to capsize as seldom as possible and so used a reefed mainsail on the dinghy and used the jib mainly when sailing “off the wind”. (When I tried to sail close to the wind under full sail I capsized and quickly learned my lesson!) Any shore watchers would have seen my mascot, “Bluey” an inflatable toy dolphin, attached to the top of my mast. As well as looking silly, he served a very useful purpose by stopping the boat turning upside down on capsizing – he earned his keep! However Bluey wasn’t the only dolphin who joined me. On the third lap I was alerted to the presence of the Lochcarron dolphins by a loud splash. Soon they were swimming alongside me, turning on their sides and leaping out of the water to take a good look, they seemed as fascinated by my dinghy as I was with them. After a few minutes they were gone, but they returned twice more during the day. On lap ten I noticed a brown log floating on the waves halfway between the islands. Suddenly it developed two small dark eyes. As soon as I realised he was an otter floating on his back eating a small fish he was gone in a splash. During the day I was joined as crew by four friends, Fiona Macdonald from Ratagan, Fin and Nic MacAuley-Smith from Achintraid and lastly by nurse Fiona from Arinackaig. They helped make the time fly by – particularly Nurse Fiona who kept me cheerful during the last two hours. I must also thank the many people on-shore without whom I could not have undertaken my venture. Special thanks to Mhoira and Dougal who took great care of me and even brought out flasks of hot coffee and a cheese toasties! Thanks also to rescue boat operators Doug Angus, Ian Mitchell (Mitch), and Graham MacAuley Smith and to all those who gathered on the shore at 8.00p.m. to cheer me in. For the record, I sailed a total of about forty five miles, capsized four times, made nineteen circuits and raised £706. (This has been doubled and sent to the Ocean Youth Trust.) Other contributions that have been made by personal donations or through the webpage on www.justgiving.com/davidmurray4 have raised the total to £3,332.00 Many thanks to the staff at the Rock Villa Hotel and the Surgery for their help with fundraising. If you would like to help children take part in adventure sail training with the OYTS please visit the above webpage to donate on-line or come and see me anytime. Thanks again. David Murray.(Apologies for the photo's those who know me already know that my talents do not include photography!!) Report on the First Yacht Race 17 May 2009 Starters Gun is set for 12.00 noon. We plan to gather at 11.00 at the clubhouse. The race should last no more that about two to three hours. Visiting yachts welcome -- please contact D Murray on 01520 722221 for more details. Or call us on Channel 69 on the morning of the race. The course will be set according to conditions on the day and is likely to be held within upper Loch Carron. High tide is about 2.000p.m. Race Report:The old rivals, Amatory and Mhojo locked horns again this afternoon but of course they weren't taking the race too seriously. Nevertheless they both wanted to be in the exactly same spot of water with thirty seconds to go before the start. The shout of "windward boat keeps clear" from the Mhojo crew was greeted by looks of innocent astonishment from their Amatory counterparts as they deftly avoided collision by sneaking into the ever diminishing space below the starter's line buoy. Mhojo decided to be gentlemanly by withdrawing their protest in a timely manner but could barely contain their delight when the race officer announced that Amatory had been on course side at the start. Mhojo headed off to windward as Amatory quickly recrossed the start line and then picked up a good breeze. By careful helming and good crewing they caught up by the time both boats reached the Attadale buoy. Amatory quickly hoisted their cruising chute and overtook Mhojo who chose that precise moment to hoist the multicoloured airbrake that they jokingly called a spinnaker. After what seemed like a lifetime going slowly backwards they unfurled the white sail again and returned the pink and blue beast to its cage. Meanwhile Amatory extended their lead, even taking time to play with the dolphins on the way. However Mhojo persevered and picked up a better breeze on the second windward leg. They even manged a fairly successful spinnaker hoist second time around and caught up on some of their lost time. However Amatory continued to sail consistently and they secured their win by crossing the line two and a half minutes ahead. Many thanks to all who helped on shore and on the committee boat. You know who you are. Sail Tasters 16 May 2009 Come on down as see for yourself ..... from 11.30a.m. till 2.00p.m. this Saturday. Primarily aimed at youngsters, this is the opportunity to come down to our club and experience a "taster sail" in one of our dinghies accompanied by an experienced dinghy sailor or instructor. Bouyancy aids will be provided but be prepared to get a bit wet. ( A change of clothes may be advisable if it is wet or windy). (At the same time yours truly will be battling round the loch on my 12 hour Sailathon -- there will be a space for anyone who would care to join me for a lap!) Dave Lochcarron Sailathon! 16 May 2009 ( This is a photo of the Yacht that I'll be crewing in an attempt to sail to the Arctic and back in 12 days. But first I have to fundraise!) All the money raised will go to the Ocean Youth Trust Scotland which runs Adventure Sailure for young people in Scotland. Several of our junior members have benefitted from this in the past. See www.oytscotland.org.uk So on Saturday 16th May I'm going to attempt a twelve hour sailing marathon in the loch. Beginning at 8.00a.m. and finishing at 8.00p.m. I'm planning to sail around the Lochcarron Islands as often as I can! Along the way I'm hoping that people might like to come and join me for a lap (and perhaps make a donation to the fund afterwards?). There will also be a small competition to see if anyone can guess how many laps I will do in the twelve hour period. (This will of course depend on the wind conditions on the day). The prize will be a trip to Plockton and back on "Mhojo" calling in to play with the dolphins along the way. Competition forms are available at the Ferguson Medical Centre, the Rock Villa Hotel and at the Clubhouse on Saturday. I have been set the target to raise £3,000.00 before the end of May and I promise to match, pound for pound, all donations up to that target. Further details and details of how to donate to the Ocean Youth Trust Scotland can be found at www.justgiving.com/davidmurray4 Please note this is running at the same time as the Sail Taster Session which is happening on the same day. Many thanks, Dave Murray. 13 May 2009 Training Week 6th - 10th JulyIf you came to training Week last year then you are guaranteed a place this year. Others who have already spoken to me are also "on the list" Unfortunately due to other commitments I will not be able to start serious organising until the second week in June and I will contact everybody then. Jenny Sailaway on 9th May Postponed!! 09 May 2009 Sadly it seems we must postpone the Sailaway that was scheduled for the 9th/10th of May. Unfortunately very few of the Yacht Owning Fraternity are able to come -- largely as their boats are still resting quietly on the hard. Come on chaps -- don't let the dinghy sailors put you to shame -- there's good sailing weather passing us by! We will try to fit in another sailaway -- where the programme allows. Anyone who is keen may wish to take part in the yacht race at Kyle which will be held this Saturday -- 9th May. Contact me for more details. Cheers, Dave. Racing this Wednesday... 06 May 2009 Don't forget that we'll be arranging some fun races for those that want to try it during the free sailing sessions -- and there WILL BE PRIZES! Remember too that there will a normal club race at 7.00p.m. after the Free Sailing. Everyone is welcome to join in -- if you'd like to continue to race bring a snack to eat so that you'll be ready to continue racing. Any queries about this ?-- Just speak to Jenny, Steve or myself. See you there!! Dave. Wednesday Nights Taking off Big-time. 22 April 2009
Who would believe that these four chaps actually said they had a good time out sailing in our new Wayfarer this evening? Perhaps they were worried that they were about to hit one of the 16 dinghies that were out sailing in the light winds or that they had spotted the head of one of the 24 juniors sailors that enjoyed the conditions. Maybe they were just worried that they were not going to be back on time to see "Slumdog Millionaire" on the Screen Machine...... All the club Topper were out and it was all hands on deck to hawl them up the ramp! Free Sailing Turnout. 15 April 2009 Twenty one juniors and quite a few adults returned to the loch this Wednesday. It was fantastic to see thirteen boats out -- including several Toppers, Two Picos, the Buzz, Omega and GP14 to name but a few. We were joined by our dolphin friends who seemed particularly fond of the Buzz. They seem to be speed merchants -- a bit like Peter and Scott then? Hopefully they may make a habit of joining in on Wednesdays? Sorry no photos of this -- please up load one if you have one.
Bring and Buy Success! 15 April 2009 Despite the rain and wind, the Bring and Buy last Saturday had a good turn-out and we raised a grand total of £192.00 for the club. Many thanks to all of you who donated goods or baking to the day and to all who attended, making the first event of the year a great success. Racing Season has started. 05 April 2009
This photos shows Mother and Son, Cathy and Scott in combat as Scott rapidly overtook his mother on the reach. Our next race is on Sunday the 19th. Come on down and join us then! Jenny Baker is RYA Scotland Instructor of the Year! 28 March 2009 Congratulations Jenny!
(Jenny forced to walk the plank in 2008)
"RYA Scotland Instructor of the Year 2009".This is great news. It justly recognises the huge amount of work that Jenny has been doing for our club for many years. As well as her superb teaching skills on and off the water, Jenny takes responsibility for our paperwork as Club Principle. She makes sure that we operate safely and that we are working within the regulations that are laid down by the RYA to ensure that our courses are up to scratch. She is due to be presented with her award at the RYA Scotland AGM on the 28th of March in Falkirk. |
