A sucessful year was rounded off at the Club AGM on Tuesday evening. We look forward to the 2009 season, thankful that our Commodore David Murray, Principal Jenny Baker and Treasurer George Hendry all agreed to continue in their current posts. Many members of the committee were re-elected. Terry, Mitch, Doug, John, and Steve all remained, which should ensure a smooth season ahead. I am personally grateful to Nic MacAulay Smith for agreeing to lighten my load. She is now the offical Club Secretary. While I'm taking a step back I will continue as the Membership Secretary. Somehow I also managed to talk myself into the role of Grants Officer, so I will still be around. More importantly, Cathy Kitson Jones agreed to take on the post of Vice Commodore, both Cathy and Nic are very able ladies who will no doubt breathe new vigor into the committee. We also welcome Francesca Dalgety and Bart McFleat and look forward to their input, assistance and ideas. 

Finally thank you to all who attended the meeting, and to those who sent in their apologies. The minutes are now on the web,and can be seen as usual after logging in to the members area.

I look forward to seeing you all very soon at the club house.
