Dear Members,
 
Following the committee meeting last night the price and format for the Laying Up Supper was decided.
 
The price will be £17 for people 16 and over, and £9 for people under 16.
 
While most members have responded, I am always aware that trying to contact everyone by email, relies on me having an totally up to date email contact for everyone, and that they check their email regularly. I would be most grateful if you could chat to each other and get the message out as far as possible to the whole membership about the Supper. Parents please ask your youngsters to chat to other juniors, just in case some one is missed :-(
 
Date: 19th November
Place: Lochcarron Village Hall
Time: 7pm for 7.30pm
 
The plan is a varied programme including, live music, prize giving, games and a presentation from some of the sailors who spent a week sailing with the Ocean Youth Trust this summer, as well as super food and interesting company!
 
As in previous years the Carron Restaurant will be producing the food, and my thanks to Peter and Michelle for their patience and being so adaptable while the committee made its choices. A welcome drink is included in the price, but all other drinks are on a Bring Your Own Bottle basis (this includes all alcoholic and soft drinks). Please pay for your food in advance by sending a cheque payable to LOCHCARRON SAILING CLUB and post it to me at Craig Cottage, Achnashellach, Strathcarron, Ross Shire. IV54 8YU.
 
And finally... If anyone would like to make a table decoration, again anything with a nautical theme, that would be fantastic. Donations for the raffle, suitable for adults and / or children, and help setting up the hall, all would be appreciated. There will be someone from the committee in the hall from 1pm, please just come along if you would like to pitch in, or drop off a decoration or prize.
