Sad but true, the Lochcarron Sailing Club programme has finished for this year. BUT the North of Scotland Sailing Squad (NOSSS) training is about to begin.

The first squad weekend will be held at Chanonry Sailing Club -- in Fortrose (just an hour's drive from Lochcarron) on the weekend of the 20th and 21st of October. If you are a junior member and feel you would like to improve your racing skills then this is the weekend for you! There has been someinterest already, so we're hoping to takle a trailer with three or four Toppers from Lochcarron.

You need to register in advance for this -- closing date is 5th October, but there is usually some leeway on this. Click on the NOSS reg. form on the left to download a form and send it off to Edinburgh as soon as possible. Also let Dave or Jenny know if you want to go so that we can help arrange boats.

There will be two more NOSSS training weekends before Christmas. Probably at Invergordon in November and possibly at Lochcarron on the 1st and 2nd of December. Brrrrrrrrr!
